Stainless Steel Crimped Mesh

Pre Crimped wire made by the mold in advance, so make the metal wire in both directions in the correct position, thus ensuring mesh size the uniform of the crimped wire mesh. Crimped wire mesh has nice structure and strong durable.Gaite Wire Mesh Co.,Ltd supply Crimped wire mesh with mainly six types. Please see below.

Product Description

Stainless Steel Crimped Mesh

Stainless steel crimped mesh is made by rolling metal wires first and then weaving them into a mesh. Due to its special weaving process, it is very suitable for producing wire mesh with thick wires. Stainless steel crimped wire mesh has a stable structure and beautiful appearance. It is usually used for sieving particles or architectural decorative protection. Stainless steel woven wire mesh is widely used in food, mining, chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, metallurgy, machinery, protection, construction, handicrafts and other industries.

Features

1. Strong structure and stable surface.
2. Strong impact resistance, good abrasion resistance.
3. Uniform mesh size, flat and beautiful mesh surface.
4. High temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance.
5. A variety of materials and specifications are available.
6. Easy processing, wide range of uses.

Stainless Steel Crimped Wire Mesh Weaving Process

The main difference between stainless steel crimped wire mesh and plain stainless steel mesh is the weaving method. Crimped wire mesh is pre-bent before weaving stainless steel wire mesh. According to the matching of wire diameter and mesh size, or according to customer's requirement, the crimped wire mesh can be further divided into several types, such as plain crimped woven wire mesh, intermediate crimped wire mesh or intermediate crimped wire mesh, locking crimped wire mesh/screen mesh, and flat-topped wire mesh.

Bi-directional bending crimped wire mesh is suitable for stainless steel woven wire mesh with fine wire diameter and large mesh. Plain Crimped refers to the weaving method in which each warp thread passes above and below each weft thread, forming a 90-degree angle between the warp threads and the weft threads. This “up and down” weave utilizes the strength of the wire and the size of the mesh to hold the mesh in place. The warp and weft threads usually have the same diameter.

Intercrimped Wire Mesh is the most common type of crimped wire mesh, and is widely used in stainless steel woven wire mesh where the wire diameter is finer and the mesh size is larger.Intercrimped Wire Mesh is characterized by the use of relatively fine wires to create larger mesh sizes. Typically, the larger the mesh size, the more times the wire is crimped. The crimping on the metal wires of Crimped Wire Mesh increases the stability of Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh.

Locked Crimped Wire Mesh/Screen is suitable for stainless steel woven wire mesh with high mesh precision. Locked Crimped Wire Mesh has protrusions or joints in each set of intersecting wires. These joints lock the mesh into place, creating a very strong product. Locked Rolled Wire Mesh offers uniform mesh, precise screening, high abrasion resistance and long service life.

All corrugations of flat top wire mesh are bent in one direction while the other side remains smooth. The surfaces of all the wires are aligned with each other, giving the front side of the screen a flat appearance. The corrugations on the back side are approximately twice the height of the curl of a tightly locked rolled wire mesh. Flat-top rolled wire mesh was originally developed to provide a smooth surface for material flow or to be used as a support screen for finer mesh. In addition, it is widely used in the construction industry.

Uses

Crimped wire mesh is widely used in mining, chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, metallurgy, machinery, protection, construction, craft and other industries. Due to the special properties of stainless steel material, stainless steel rolled wire mesh is usually used in industries that require strict stability. For example, in the food industry, stainless steel woven wire mesh is used to make food baskets; in the chemical industry, it is used for screening and filtration under acidic and alkaline conditions; stainless steel wire cloth is used as pickling mesh in the electroplating industry; it is used as slurry mesh in the petroleum industry; it is used as architectural woven wire mesh in architectural decorations; and it is used as an oil-water separator in the automobile industry.
